ATV incident on Harrison East FSR seriously injures 2 males: Agassiz RCMP

HARRISON EAST FOREST SERVICE ROAD — An ATV accident on Harrison East Forest Service Road Tuesday night (June 4) north of Agassiz has seriously injured two males, according to the Agassiz RCMP detachment.

Sgt. Andy Lot of the Agassiz RCMP detachment told Fraser Valley Today over the phone Wednesday morning that B.C. Ambulance Service paramedics, Kent Harrison Search and Rescue, and Agassiz RCMP were dispatched sometime after 10:30 p.m. Tuesday evening after receiving a report of a single-vehicle ATV crash.

The location of the crash is the 4-kilometre mark on Harrison East Forest Service Road, northwest of Trout Lake and the junction with Hicks Lake Road/Harrison East FSR.

One person has been hospitalized and is in stable condition Wednesday morning. He’s expected to survive. The other man’s condition is not known. Sgt. Lot said he might have an update Thursday morning on the second man’s condition.
