Ruth and Naomi’s purchases Chilliwack duplex to expand women’s recovery program
CHILLIWACK — Not long after its successful Night of Hope gala in which it raised over $100,000 last month to enhance its addition services portfolio, Ruth and Naomi’s Mission announced last week that it has purchased a duplex to expand its women’s recovery program.
According to a social media post from the Christian ministry dated Thursday, May 30 at noon, the new women’s recovery facility will be named “Sparrow House.” RAN says sparrows are believed to symbolize joy, community, teamwork, protection, hard work and self-worth.
“A perfect symbol of the beautiful transformations that will take place within these walls,” Ruth and Naomi’s wrote on Facebook. This new building will double our capacity to serve and help more women in need. Incredible!”
RAN released a photo of the outside of the duplex as well as blueprints illustrating how they will configure the interior of the home for success.
