Drag bingo fundraiser Tuesday night to feature Chilliwack MLA Kelli Paddon

CHILLIWACK — The BC NDP invites the public to attend a “Campaigns & Queens Bingo Night” Tuesday night, June 4 at BRGR BRGR, a restaurant in Garrison, featuring Chilliwack NDP MLA Kelli Paddon.

The evening gets underway at 6 p.m. at 45655 Tamihi Way, unit 101, in Garrison Village. Tickets are $30 to $50 and include four rounds of bingo, a burger and a drink.

MLA Paddon will be joined by Hailey Adler, a Chilliwack born-and-raised drag queen.

Chilliwack school board member Teri Westerby said the evening is meant to show support for Paddon and inclusivity.

“In a time where our fundamental human rights are under attack, where the next election could make or break inclusion in schools, whether or not children get access to healthcare and women get access to healthcare,” Westerby said on Facebook.
“And all you have to do is come down to a drag bingo party at a burger restaurant on a Tuesday!! Show your support, show Kelli Paddon just how much inclusion means to you and how much you are investing in moving forward together.”
