Learn how to make clean air filters at free workshop Wednesday in Chilliwack
CHILLIWACK — Given the likelihood that Fraser Valley air will be impacted by wildfire smoke at some point this summer, Chilliwack residents have the opportunity to make their own air filters for use in their homes at a workshop this week in Chilliwack.
The free workshop happens Wednesday, May 29 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Fraser Valley Regional District, 45950 Cheam Avenue, in Chilliwack.
The workshop will feature specific instructions on how to make their own air filters, free of charge, courtesy of Simon Fraser University. Attendees will be able to take them home.
The goal behind the free workshop is to enable Chilliwack residents to protect their families in the likely event of wildfire smoke this year.
