Paddon to run for NDP in Chilliwack-Cultus Lake
CHILLIWACK — Kelli Paddon has been nominated as the BC NDP candidate for Chilliwack-Cultus Lake, promising to tackle tough challenges and improve the quality of life for residents.
Paddon, who was elected as the MLA for Chilliwack-Kent in the 2020 provincial election, currently serves as the Parliamentary Secretary for Gender Equity. Her career before politics included roles as a community support worker, youth employment counsellor and instructor. Paddon is a longtime resident of Chilliwack and lives with her husband and two children.
“Chilliwack is an amazing place to live and raise a family, and there’s much more we can do to help people thrive here,” Paddon said.
Premier David Eby calls Paddon a champion for the people in the Chilliwack area. “She’s been a strong voice for affordable housing, healthcare improvements, infrastructure enhancements, and inclusive communities,” said the Premier.
