Langley RCMP tracks down 35-year-old man wanted for child porn offences
LANGLEY — Mounties in Langley say they have arrested a man wanted on Québec warrants for despicable offences involving possession of child pornography.
According to a news release from BC RCMP Corporal Brett Urano, the 35-year-old man was wanted for multiple charges including possession of child pornography, access to child pornography and production of a controlled substance.
The BC RCMP Fugitive Return program worked with the Langley RCMP for the arrest and in close partnership with the Sûreté du Québec Internet Child Exploitation Unit, British Columbia Prosecution Service and Québec Crown Prosecutors Office in extending the warrant to BC.
James Kastanis, 35, was held in custody and returned to Québec on Thursday, May 9, 2024.
