CHILLIWACK — Chilliwack RCMP says the 29-year-old woman who was reported missing last week has been safely located.

According to a brief statement from Chilliwack RCMP spokesperson Corporal Carmen Kiener, the missing woman was safely located around 9 a.m. on Monday morning, May 6.

The news came after multiple individuals had canvassed the Chilliwack River Valley and surrounding forest service roads, including Chilliwack Park and Chilliwack Lake Forest Service Road, in an urgent quest to find the woman.

All identifying information about the missing woman will be removed from the Fraser Valley Today website and Twitter accounts.
