MISSION — Police in Mission say detectives from the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) have been called out to a rural property in Mission after a 25-year-old man died overnight.

According to a statement from Mission RCMP, police in Mission were notified by B.C. Ambulance Service on Friday night, May 3 shortly before 11 p.m. that paramedics had responded to a report of an incident inside a home in the 30000 block of Dewdney Trunk Road.

Officers attended the residence and witnessed a 25-year-old man who was found unresponsive and could not be resuscitated. A suspect was arrested, and remains in police custody, Mission RCMP said.
