Vehicle crash on Hwy. 1 blocks eastbound traffic Thursday afternoon in Chilliwack

CHILLIWACK — The commute in the Fraser Valley is another challenging one Thursday evening.

Drive BC wrote at 5:43 p.m. Thursday (Apr. 11) that an eastbound vehicle incident between No. 3 Road and the Vedder Canal in Chilliwack has both lanes blocked.

Vehicles are only able to pass via the right shoulder.

Motorists should expect delays for their eastbound commute.

An image shared by Drive BC shows what appears to be an SUV on its side with a small trailer behind it. A tow truck is located near the incapacitated vehicle ready to remove it from Highway 1.
