Amber Alert cancelled – Child and mother found safe

LANGLEY — RCMP in Langley cancelled an Amber Alert, launched Thursday (Apr. 4) night in that community.
Police say the 4-month-old child and its 35-year-old mother have been located. Mounties say both were safely located at Langley Memorial Hospital. at approximately 5 p.m.
The child and the mother are no longer being named for privacy reasons. Previous stories on the Amber Alert have also been removed.
The Amber Alert was put in place shortly after 8 p.m. Thursday when the mother was reported to have left an address in the area of 72 Street and 208 Avenue with the child. Police say she fled on foot with the child without permission.
