LANGLEY — Langley RCMP have issued a province-wide Amber Alert Thursday night (Apr. 4) for an abducted child.

The abducted male child is Tyler Durocher, described by police as three months old, 1 feet, 10 inches tall, with brown hair. Durocher was last seen wearing a blue short sleeve onesie and blue camouflage pants. His last known location is 72 Avenue and 208 Avenue in Langley.

The suspect is Brianne Darlene Ford, 5’2″ tall, brown hair with shaved sides and pink highlights, wearing all black clothing. Ford has a nose ring.

Police say Ford attended an address in the area of 72nd Street and 208th Avenue earlier this afternoon. She later fled on foot with the child without permission. Based on the information available, criteria for an Amber Alert and the imminent concerns for the well-being of a three-month-old child, an Amber Alert was activated accordingly. Police are searching the area around the location and additional resources have been called in. Police believe they are likely on foot.
