New eatery set to open soon at the Cottonwood mall in Chilliwack

CHILLIWACK — The branding seems to be a play off Chilliwack’s name, and it appears almost ready to open any day now in the Cottonwood Centre mall.

Chilli Wok, a quick service restaurant serving fresh options like satay chicken, chicken chow mein and curry shrimp, isn’t officially listed as a retailer on the mall’s website just yet, but has a menu mounted inside the store as of Wednesday morning (Mar. 13). Its front entrance doors had brown construction paper on it to indicate it is not yet open to the public as of Wednesday morning.

According to its menu behind the eatery’s doors, patrons have the option of building their own combos. One-item combos start at $11.99, followed by two items ($14.99) and three items ($17.99).

Sesame chicken will run you $14.99, while chicken satay has a posted price point of $17.99.

Curry chicken appears to be $15.99, and curry shrimp costs $17.99.

Chilli Wok will sell beverages and other items to complement its menu.

It’s not known if there will be seating inside the store where patrons can dine.

In December 2023, a sign appeared outside Chilli Wok advising customers that it was coming soon.
