Salvation Army to hold garage sale in Chilliwack Saturday, but don’t be late

CHILLIWACK — There’s probably a good reason people line up and come early for bargains galore at a local church’s garage sale in Chilliwack.

The Salvation Army Church, located at 46420 Brooks Avenue in Chilliwack, will hold a three-hour garage sale Saturday morning, March 9 from 9 a.m. to noon.

According to a Facebook post from the church, items include bicycles, Easter paraphernalia, travel mugs (but no Stanley cups, sorry), camping gear (e.g., air mattress, dome tent), yarn, smaller furniture, couch cushions, kids backpacks, a Ninja air fryer and more.

In the past, garage sales like these have help funded summer camps for children and youth. Cash, debit and credit cards have been accepted at these garage sale events in the past, but bring extra cash just in case. The church is asking people to bring shopping bags.
