Chilliwack tree service company undergoes slight name change, will begin franchising and growing its brand

CHILLIWACK — Joe Skillen Tree Services, a family-owned and operated company that services residential, commercial and municipal clients in Chilliwack and beyond, has undergone a slight name change and will begin franchising its company as it seeks to grow and develop its brand.

According to a Facebook post dated Wednesday, January 3, Joe Skillen Tree Services will become Skillin Tree Services and begin franchising its company.

“We are so excited to introduce our next growth phase as we push Joe’s legacy forward for every Canadian to enjoy,” the Facebook post stated. “Joe Skillen Tree Services now changes to Skillin Tree Services. During the last 12 months, we have been working diligently on our new legal framework and franchising steps for growth. We partnered with FRANpro Consulting, a local Chilliwack company and one of Canada’s best franchising agencies to help with this new phase. Our new website, logo, trucks and process are just a stepping stone to living on Joe’s legacy. Our people, and our success all remain the same. We just look to add you as our next partner in owning your own Skillin’s Tree Services franchise.”
