Chilliwack Chiefs snap losing streak with victory over Alberni Valley
CHILLIWACK — Oliver Beaulieu had two goals and one assist while Parker Murray scored twice to leave the Chilliwack Chiefs to a 6 – 4 win over the visiting Alberni Valley Bulldogs Friday (Dec. 15).
Connor Dick and Nathan Morin also scored for the Chiefs in the chippy contest that featured six roughing penalties and six misconducts over the course of the game.
Austin McNicholas picked up the victory in the Chilliwack net as the Chiefs snapped a two-game losing skid. They outshot the Bulldogs 37 – 34.
Chilliwack will play its final game before the Christmas break on Saturday, hosting the Coastal Division leading Surrey Eagles at 6 p.m. at the Chilliwack Coliseum.
