Rotary Christmas Parade to wind through Chilliwack tonight
CHILLIWACK — The jolliest man in red is set to steal the spotlight Saturday (Dec. 2) as Santa Claus headlines the Rotary Christmas Parade in downtown Chilliwack.
The festive event is scheduled to kick off at 5:30 p.m. from Chilliwack Senior Secondary School, winding down Yale Road to Wellington Avenue. It will then turn right onto College Street and conclude along Reece Avenue near Chilliwack Senior Secondary School.
The event, generously supported by sponsors including Mountainview Harley-Davidson, Mountainview Motorsports, and many others including 895 JR Country, promises a delightful evening of holiday cheer.
BC Transit is offering an early Christmas present for parade-goers, by providing complimentary rides on all local routes in Chilliwack for the day. The initiative will allow both residents and visitors to leave their cars at home, bypass parking hassles, and fully immerse themselves in the holiday spirit without worrying about transportation needs.
