Chilliwack Chiefs extend winning streak to four with 4 – 1 in Powell River
POWELL RIVER — Austin McNicholas stopped 29 of 30 shots to lead the Chilliwack Chiefs to a 4 – 1 victory over the Powell River Kings Saturday (Nov. 25) in Powell River.
Nathan Morin, Austin Peters, Elliot Dutil and Matt Argentina scored goals for the Chiefs who defeated the Kings for the second consecutive night. The Chiefs also beat Powell River last weekend in Chilliwack and have now built a four-game winning streak.
The win bumps the Chiefs over the .500 mark for the first time this season with a record of 10 – 9 – 1 – 0. That leaves them in a second place tie with Coquitlam at 21 points.
The Chiefs are off until Friday when they will travel to Langley.
