MISSION — There was a troubling discovery in a public restroom last week in Mission. RCMP were called out to a report of drugs hidden in the ceiling of the restroom.

The startling find occurred when a maintenance worker, engaged in repairs, opened a ceiling panel and stumbled upon half a kilogram of cocaine neatly packaged for distribution. Law enforcement officials suspect the cache was strategically placed by one drug dealer for another to clandestinely retrieve.

As of now, the identity of the individual responsible for stashing the illicit substances remains unknown, raising concerns about the potential dangers posed to unsuspecting members of the public. Police are warning the public about the severe risks associated with leaving toxic drugs in public spaces where innocent individuals could unknowingly come into contact with them.

Community members are encouraged to come forward with any information that may assist in solving the case. Authorities are asking residents to report any suspicious activity immediately.
