Motorist airlifted to hospital after single-vehicle crash on Keith Wilson Road in Chilliwack

CHILLIWACK — A motorist was airlifted to hospital via BC Air Ambulance after a single-vehicle collision on Keith Wilson Road near Lickman Road Thursday afternoon (Nov. 16).

Multiple units and vehicles from the Chilliwack Fire Department, BC Ambulance, and Chilliwack RCMP responded to the area of 44113 Keith Wilson Road on the north side of the major thoroughfare after what appeared to be a Mitsubishi sedan crashed.

The road was blocked between approximately 2:10 p.m. and 3:20 p.m. as RCMP advised motorists on X/Twitter that it was investigating a single-vehicle collision and urged them to use an alternate route.

An air ambulance landed at approximately 2:45 p.m. and lifted off from an empty field on the north side of Keith Wilson Road, about 20 metres east of Lickman Road, at 3:17 p.m. exactly.
