
Chilliwack child airlifted to hospital after incident on McGrath Road
CHILLIWACK — A Chilliwack child was airlifted to hospital following an incident that happened on McGrath Road in Rosedale Friday afternoon.
According to scanner traffic, Chilliwack Fire and BC Ambulance Service were dispatched to the 10100 block of McGrath Road Friday for the report of a child with burns to the chest and abdomen area.
BC Emergency Health Services confirmed Friday afternoon that a patient was airlifted to hospital.
“BC Emergency Health Services received a call at 12:27 p.m. today (Friday, Nov. 10) about an incident in the 10100-block of McGrath Road in Rosedale, east of Chilliwack,” BC EHS wrote in an email to Fraser Valley Today. “One ambulance, an advanced care paramedic response unit and an air ambulance responded. Paramedics cared for and transported one patient by air ambulance to hospital in stable condition.”
