Two men hospitalized after assault on South Sumas Road in Sardis early Wednesday
CHILLIWACK — Two men were transported to hospital for non-life-threatening injuries after they assaulted each other early Wednesday morning on South Sumas Road in Sardis.
According to a brief synopsis from Sgt. Krista Vrolyk, media relations spokesperson for the Chilliwack RCMP detachment, Mounties received a report of a possible stabbing in the 45300 block of South Sumas Road at approximately 2:45 a.m.
As a reference point, Chilliwack Fire Hall No. 4 is located at 45433 South Sumas Road, so the assault happened about one block west of the fire hall.
Police attended and determined that an assault between two men had occurred, resulting in both individuals being transported by BC Ambulance Service to the hospital for injuries that were not deemed critical or life-threatening.
