Former Sardis Bottle Depot location all boarded up, as new Chilliwack facility opens on Vedder

CHILLIWACK — The Sardis Bottle Depot has traded the digs of the dated Sardis Plaza for a brand new facility near the old Canadian Tire.

The new Sardis Bottle Depot opened up on Friday, August 18 next to the Canada Post location in the northeast corner of the former Canadian Tire parking lot.

The new facility’s hours are 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

The former location at 45635 Lark Road has since been boarded up. On the rear of its building, it had been repeatedly vandalized with graffiti, obscene messages and other markings time and time again.
