ABBOTSFORD — The Traffic Enforcement Unit of the Abbotsford Police Department maintained a watchful eye throughout the weekend for impaired, drunk drivers that thought nothing of endangering other motorists.

In the end, traffic police and the impaired motorists both got their just reward.

In a tweet from the police department, Abbotsford Police and its Traffic Enforcement Unit removed 15 high-risk drivers from the Abbotsford roadways over the weekend.

“Over the weekend, AbbyPD officers and our Traffic Enforcement Unit removed 15 high-risk drivers from our communities roadways. We are committed to making Abbotsford’s roadways safe, we ask that you please share this commitment with us” Abby PD wrote on Twitter.
