Chilliwack first responders respond after fisherman falls down embankment
CHILLIWACK — Chilliwack first responders were reportedly dispatched sometime around 6:15 a.m. Tuesday morning (July 11) after a 73-year-old fisherman reportedly fell 10 feet down an embankment in the Chilliwack River Valley.
According to scanner traffic, rescue personnel from the Chilliwack River Valley Fire Department and Chilliwack Search and Rescue were deployed to an area west of the Chilliwack River Hatchery, 55205 Chilliwack Lake Road, for the report of a man who fell about 10 feet down an embankment and required medical attention.
Two engines were dispatched from the CRVFD.
The exact area on Google Maps where first responders were summoned is the Slesse Creek climbing area.
