CHILLIWACK — Fraser Health Authority issued a public health alert Thursday afternoon (June 29) shortly after 2 p.m. in which it advised people that vape juice containing cannabis and suspected synthetic cannabinoids sold in refillable, unmarked and unbranded cartridges have tested positive for benzodiazepines in Chilliwack.

Reported side effects include: prolonged sedation, nausea, vomiting, and black outs.

Fraser Health urges anyone who might be experiencing these symptoms to contact 9-1-1 immediately.
