Abbotsford Police Department arrests three in targeted home invasion

ABBOTSFORD — The Abbotsford Police Department says it has arrested three adult suspects in connection with a home invasion that occurred in the 33000 block of George Ferguson Way Friday.

In a news release from Constable Art Stele, media relations spokesperson, Abbotsford PD patrol officers responded to a report of a home invasion on George Ferguson Way Friday, June 23 at 2:33 p.m. Due to the swift response from AbbyPD front line officers, three adult suspects have been arrested in connection to this incident, which police believe is a targeted incident.

Abbotsford Police say the public is not at risk at this time, and all those believed to be responsible for the home invasion are in police custody as of Friday afternoon.

Members of the AbbyPD Major Crime Unit have taken over the investigation with the assistance of Patrol officers and are in the early stages of the investigation. The male victim was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
