Highway 1 crash snarls traffic near Sumas exit in Abbotsford

UPDATE – 8:20 p.m. – ABBOTSFORD — Abbotsford police say the scene of the crash has been cleared and normal traffic flow has resumed.

ABBOTSFORD — Abbotsford police are asking motorists to avoid Highway 1 near the Sumas exit following a traffic incident Monday (May 22) night.

Emergency services were responding to the incident in the westbound lane of Highway 1 shortly after 7 p.m.

Westbound traffic is blocked off at the Sumas exit according to police.
