Stave Falls park public planning session set for Mission
MISSION — The City of Mission is looking for public input into the development of Stave Falls Community Park. It’s hosting an input session Saturday, June 3 from 9 a.m. to noon at Stave Falls Elementary school.
The park will be located near the school along Brackley Avenue.
Officials are using a charrette planning process to develop ideas to take forward. A number of hands-on table top exercises are planned for the meeting.
“Stave Falls wants to see their park become a reality. We’re hosting this charrette process to give everyone an opportunity to imagine a space shared by all.” Said Mayor Paul Horn. “A good park is the heart of a community, a source of pride, and a gathering spot for neighbours. That’s why we want to see a strong turnout. Everyone is welcome!”
