On Earth Day, volunteers with the Chilliwack/Vedder River Cleanup Society will hold their annual Spring River Cleanup at Thompson Regional Park, 48600 Chilliwack Lake Road, on Saturday, Apr. 22.
The cleanup is at Thompson Regional Park but covers the entire Chilliwack River Valley and Vedder River corridor.
Registration is open from 8:30-9:30 a.m. and volunteers with the society will be supplying garbage bags, gloves, and pick-up sticks. It asks volunteers to drop off all garbage at Thompson Regional Park no later than 1:30 p.m.
