Chilliwack non-profit that helps young families seeks executive director
CHILLIWACK — A downtown Chilliwack non-profit that helps thousands of local children and families in the Fraser Valley in times of financial need is currently looking for an executive director to carry its mission forward.
Meadow Rose Family Help Center Society, which was first founded in 2011 and later became a registered Canadian charity in 2013, provides essentials for children three and under in Chilliwack and Hope, and whose families are in financial crisis.
It wrote on Facebook last week that it is currently looking for an executive director. Sheila Friesen, the current executive director, has been working for the organization since February 2012 after seeing a post on Facebook. The society’s website says she instantly fell in love with the cause.
Located at 2-45789 Spadina Avenue in Chilliwack, the society hopes to hire an experienced, strategic ED that will lead the small-scale non-profit organization and carry its mission forward. The ideal candidate will have experience with leadership, strategic planning, and fundraising. The executive director will report directly to the board of directors.
