COQUIHALLA — Drive B.C. is reporting at 6:32 p.m. Saturday evening (Apr. 1) that northbound vehicle incidents have closed the Coquihalla Highway between Hope and Merritt.
Drive B.C. wrote on Twitter that the highway between Hope and Merritt is closed in both directions. An assessment is in progress.
The next update will occur at 7:30 p.m. Motorists are advised to watch for crews and to expect delays.
Drive B.C. issued a reminder tweet to motorists at 6:46 p.m. Saturday evening that winter conditions exist on mountain passes like the Coquihalla, which is closed due to spun out vehicles and vehicle incidents.
