ABBOTSFORD — The Abbotsford Police Department has deployed multiple police officers in an earnest attempt to locate a missing 62-year-old woman in Abbotsford.

Police announced Tuesday morning (Jan. 31) they are actively looking for Sheree Beauregard, who has been reported missing to police.

Referring to the active search, Sgt. Paul Walker of the Abbotsford Police Department said, “It’s very active at the moment with multiple officers out looking for her currently.”

An individual close to the family, Jacenta Rosalie, says she has reason to believe Beauregard did not leave her home voluntarily.

“There are signs of her being taken,” Rosalie said. “She is likely wearing a pink robe and one white slipper. She does not have a mental health condition and is approachable. Her family is desperately trying to locate her.”

Police describe Beauregard as 5’1″ tall with brown hair, and is believed to be traveling on foot, not by bicycle, public transit or any other means at this time.

Rosalie says Beauregard is approximately 190 pounds with straight brown hair past her shoulders and some grey near the middle of her bangs.

Beauregard was last seen in the 31900 block of Madiera Place on Monday, January 30 at approximately 7 p.m. Police said her disappearance is very out of character for the 62-year-old.
