ABBOTSFORD — Member of Parliament Brad Vis, representing the riding of Mission-Matsqui-Fraser Canyon, announced Thursday night (Jan. 19) that he and his wife have welcomed a baby daughter.
Vis, who was first elected to Parliament in the riding north of Abbotsford in 2019, wrote in a Facebook posting that he and his wife welcomed daughter Launa Grace Vis on Wednesday, January 18.
“Thank you Lord for a healthy baby girl,” said Vis. “Welcome to the world my daughter: Launa Grace Vis, January 18, 2023.”
He acknowledged the many people who made Wednesday’s birth possible.
