Chilliwack hosting 2023 B.C. Scotties and B.C. Men’s Curling Championships starting this week

CHILLIWACK — The very best curling teams from across British Columbia will converge on the Chilliwack Curling Club this coming week for the start of the 2023 B.C. Scotties and B.C. Men’s Curling Championships.
The combined events get underway on Tuesday, January 10 and will feature talented teams from across the province who will be competing for the chance to represent B.C. at the next level.
The B.C. Men’s Championship features a 12‐team triple knockout format leading to a 4‐team page playoff. Games will be 10 ends in length. The successful team will represent B.C. at the 2023 Brier from March 3‐12.
The B.C. Scotties, presented by Best Western, will consist of an 8‐team triple knockout event leading to a 4 team page playoff. Games will be 10‐ends in length. The successful team will qualify to represent B.C. at the 2023 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, February 17-26, 2023.
