Abbotsford man wanted for domestic violence turns himself in

ABBOTSFORD — It took less than a week for Chase Ramsay to see the light and face the justice system for the wrongs he committed.

Just days after the Abbotsford Police Department issued a public notice seeking the whereabouts of a 23-year-old man wanted for domestic violence, the Abby PD announced Saturday morning that Ramsay has turned himself in to the Abbotsford courthouse.

In a statement, the Abby PD thanked the public for their assistance.

“Chase Ramsay turned himself into the Abbotsford courthouse earlier this week. His warrant has now been executed. Thanks to everyone who assisted,” the Abby PD wrote on Twitter.

In a statement Wednesday (January 4), the Abby PD had asked for the public’s assistance in locating Ramsay, who was wanted on two assault counts stemming from domestic violence.

Ramsay was known to frequent Abbotsford and Mission. He was described as 5’9″ tall, weighing 141 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
