CHILLIWACK — With rising costs everywhere consumers look these days, it’s nice to have something free every once in a while.

Chilliwack-Hope MP Mark Strahl will host his annual New Year’s Skating Party on Friday, December 30 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Chilliwack Coliseum, 45323 Hodgins Avenue.

Admission to the event is free and there will be drinks, snacks and refreshments.

“Don’t skate? Don’t fret! There will be hot drinks and snacks for everyone. Hope to see you there!” Strahl wrote on Facebook earlier this week.
