CHILLIWACK — If and when the kids have gone stir crazy in the house, and there’s still another week of winter break for parents to grapple with, make plans to get out of the house next week for a free New Year’s ice skating event in Chilliwack.
Chilliwack-Hope MP Mark Strahl will host another instalment of his annual New Year’s Skating Party on Friday, December 30 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Chilliwack Coliseum, 45323 Hodgins Avenue.
The event is free and there will be drinks, snacks and refreshments.
“Don’t skate? Don’t fret! There will be hot drinks and snacks for everyone. Hope to see you there!” Strahl wrote on Facebook earlier this week.
