Chilliwack Chiefs sign Langley standout to its 2023-24 roster
CHILLIWACK — The Chilliwack Chiefs will have the services of an offensive threat from the Fraser Valley on its roster next season.
The Chilliwack Chiefs announced on Thursday (Dec. 1) the signing of 2005-born Brendan Ruskowski for the 2023/24 BCHL season.
The Langley product currently plays for the Fraser Valley Thunderbirds U18 program. In just 17 games so far this season, the 6’0 forward has scored 27 points (9 goals, 18 assists).
“Brendan is a player who has been involved with our program for a couple of seasons now. He is an excellent two-way player that has a lot of maturity and grit to his game,” said Head Coach and General Manager Brian Maloney. “There were a lot of teams in our league interested in Brendan so we are fortunate and really excited to get this done. He is going to be a big part of the future here in Chilliwack.”
