Chilliwack Fire quickly douses vehicle fire on Lickman Road farm Saturday morning
CHILLIWACK — The Chilliwack Fire Department responded within minutes to quickly vanquish a motor vehicle on fire Saturday morning just before 9:45 a.m.
Firefighters were dispatched to the 6000 block of Lickman Road, between South Sumas Road and Keith Wilson Road, on the report of a motor vehicle on fire. A responding unit worked quickly to knock out the fire.
Image: Mike Vanden Bosch / PMLThe fire did not appear to spread to adjacent barn properties, but did require the services of two fire engines and a responding B.C. Ambulance vehicle. Enough smoke billowed into the sky to be visible from Sardis.
