CHILLIWACK — Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will be making their way from the North Pole for a special visit to the Cultus Lake main beach this Saturday, November 26.

The Community Events and Engagement Committee from the Cultus Lake Park Board cordially invites the community to attend its Cultus Lake Christmas event from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. this Saturday in the main beach area.

The festivities feature Christmas music, a Christmas light display that illuminates at 4 p.m., an artisan gift market, a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, a children’s colouring contest, a bonfire with marshmallows, hot chocolate, and apple cider, and food vendors (with food for purchase).

Santa Claus is expected to be at the event from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., according to a staff report on the park board website. There is the possibility that photographers will be on site taking pictures of families and kids with Santa.
