Your pet could be the cover model of a beer can

CHILLIWACK — The BC SPCA is giving pet owners everywhere a chance to make their fur baby a star, while simultaneously giving back to animals in need of a second chance at life.

The non-profit has partnered with Yellow Dog Brewing, a brewery in Port Moody, to launch the “Make My Pet a Yellow Dog Brewing Star” contest.

Melinda Coghill, founder and owner of Yellow Dog Brewing, said giving back to save animals is a core part of the brand’s identity.

“Each contestant is already a hero for stepping up for animals in need,” Coghill said. “We can’t wait to feature the winning pets in our beer.”
