Abbotsford police investigating homicide on McCallum Road

ABBOTSFORD — On Thursday, September 1, at 5:47 p.m., Abbotsford Police responded to the 1900 block of McCallum Road for a reported stabbing at a residence.

Upon arrival, officers located a man suffering from life-threatening injuries; the man was then transported to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

A 46-year-old man was arrested at the scene and remains in police custody.

The Abbotsford Police Major Crime Unit will be transitioning this investigation to the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) and further updates will be provided by IHIT.
