New mobile app will allow for convenient access to health records

CHILLIWACK — British Columbians will now be able to access their health records thanks to the Health Gateway mobile app.

Health Minister Adrian Dix said more than 1.2 million people in the province rely on the Health Gateway website, and the app will now allow for more convenient access to their health records.

“Through the app, people can quickly view information about their health at any time, helping them stay on top of their health and wellness needs,” he said in a statement released Monday morning.

Through the app, users will be able to access prescription medications, lab results (including blood tests and COVID-19 test results), and more.
