Chilliwack RCMP seize 1kg of cocaine, cash, and a car after traffic stop
CHILLIWACK — Chilliwack RCMP Drugs and Organized Crime Unit arrested a 40-year-old Chilliwack woman for the possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
On Wednesday, August 24 at approximately 5:30 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop which resulted in the seizure of more than one kilogram of cocaine, cash, and the vehicle used to transport the drugs.
The RCMP will be forwarding criminal charges to the Public Prosecution Service of Canada for the charge approval process.
In a press release sent out Monday, Superintendent Davy Lee of the Upper Fraser Valley Regional Detachment applauded the work done by officers at the Drugs and Organized Crime section.
