Lights, camera, Abbotsford: film festival returns to the big screen for the 3rd time
ABBOTSFORD — The Abbotsford Film Festival is slated for August 26 and 27 at The Reach Gallery Museum.
The festival is a two-day event showcasing a selection of short films and documentaries from the Fraser Valley and beyond; it is the third annual event.
The opening night (Aug. 26) sees the screening of the 48-hour films created the weekend before the festival. Following this is a selection of twisted films in the “after dark short film” screening block.
The closing night (Aug. 27) opens with “New Horizons”, a thought-provoking and diverse selection of short films on a variety of subjects, including race, mental health, and sexuality. Following this is the premiere of “Fraser Valley Music Films”.
