CHILLIWACK — Nothing satisfies quite like Chilliwack’s award-winning drinking water and the hydration that it brings on a hot summer day.

The City of Chilliwack announced Friday (August 5) that it will install new water stations at four popular venues in Chilliwack, including three in Sardis and one in Promontory.

Mayor Ken Popove joined Councillors Jeff Shields and Harv Westeringh Thursday (Aug. 4) at the Promontory summit to try out the newest drinking fountain at Jinkerson Stairs, which connects the lower part of the Teskey Way Trail with Jinkerson Road and Jinkerson Park.

A second water fountain will be installed at Peach Park, located at the southern end of Peach Road before it intersects the Rotary Vedder Trail.
