ICBC says all outstanding rebate cheques should be arriving soon, urges customers to delete phishing text messages
CHILLIWACK — The Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC) said Friday afternoon that customers still awaiting a rebate cheque of $110 per vehicle should see their rebate cheques very soon.
ICBC reported on social media just after noon Friday that all remaining rebate cheques should be in the mail by the end of July. It could take a few extra days to receive the cheque in the mail depending on Canada Post’s delivery schedule.
“All cheques are scheduled to be in the mail by the end of the month,” ICBC said. “Once in the mail it will take Canada Post a few days to have them all delivered.”
ICBC warned customers not to fall prey to text message scams that encourage consumers to click on a suspicious mobile link to access their rebate.
