B.C. govt. initiates work on Chilliwack-area campgrounds affected by storm damage
CHILLIWACK RIVER VALLEY – Preliminary work is underway to try to remediate storm damage at two campsites in the Chilliwack River Valley managed by Fireside Camping, a third party contractor.
On its social media page, Fireside Camping says work has begun at Chipmunk Peninsula and Rapids Recreation Site.
Roughly two weeks ago, Fireside Camping said the Recreation Sites and Trails BC had closed the two sites due to storm damage.
But that could change now that the province has put forth some time and energy toward getting the two sites remediated.
