Highway 1 detours through Langley for the next 3 weeks will begin this Tuesday: B.C. govt.
LANGLEY — The B.C. Ministry of Transportation and Transit says Highway 1 through Langley will be detoured in the late evening to overnight hours starting this week for the next three weeks.
According to a statement from the provincial government, motorists should plan for overnight detours along Highway 1 at the 264 Street interchange in Langley as work advances on the highway reconstruction project.
Between 11 p.m. and 4:30 a.m., starting Tuesday, Dec. 9 through Dec. 31, 2025, Highway 1 traffic in both directions will be detoured through the 264 Street interchange’s on and off ramps.
A total of 10 overnight closures are anticipated to occur within this timeframe, weather permitting. There will be no detours on the nights of Wednesday, Dec. 24 through Sunday, Dec. 28.
